Search Index Options Dialog

Search Index Options Dialog
Use this dialog to configure search index. When you perform Search operation, WinCatalog 2013 will search for items using the selected fields only. The default search index includes Name, Comments and Original filename fields.

Name (always indexed)

The display name of the item. This field is always indexed.

Comments fields of every item.

Original filename (for files)

Filename of the item. Valid only for file items. Virtual items do not have Filename field.

Title (from ID3 tags)

Title for ID3 tags is valid for Audio files. Represents song title.

Artist (from ID3 tags)

Artist name from ID3 tags. Valid only for audio files.

Album from ID3 tags. Valid only for Audio files.
