Archives and ISO Files

If Extract contents from archives and ISO files is switched to Yes, WinCatalog will scan inside archives and ISO files. The extensions of archives and ISO files should be set as Extensions option. The default value ".zip; .rar; .7z; .iso; .nrg;" (without quotes).

If Create and keep thumbnails... option is set to Yes, WinCatalog will create thumbnail images for pictures and keep copies inside the collection file. The thumbnail images will be accessible even without a connection to the original pictures.
 
The list of extensions should be provided as the Extension option. The default value is ".bmp; .gif; .jpg; .jpeg; .png; .tiff; .wmf; .emf; .ico;" (without quotes).
 
Thumbnail size (in pixels) sets the maximum width and height of the thumbnail image. The default value is 125x125. Changing this option will affect only to newly scanned pictures.
 
If Do not keep thumbnails for small images is set to Yes, WinCatalog will not create and keep thumbnails for pictures smaller than set in the next option (Small images are less than).
 
If Extract EXIF tags from digital photographs is set to Yes, WinCatalog will try to extract Exif tags from pictures.

Audio Files

If Extract ID3 tags from audio files option is enabled, WinCatalog will try to load ID3 tags from audio files. The list of extensions should be set as Extensions options. The default value is ".mp3; .wav; .wma; .ogg; .oga; .asf; .m4a; .m4b; .m4p; .mp4;" (without quotes).
 
If Replace filename by Artist - Title value is set to Yes, WinCatalog will replace display name for audio files with the data loaded from ID3 tags. The original filename will be kept unaltered.
 
If Extract thumbnails from audio files is set to Yes, WinCatalog will store thumbnail images of pictures (in most cases album covers) stored in ID3 tags. The thumbnail size is the same as for pictures.
 
If Create keyword with Artist name is set to Yes, WinCatalog will create keywords for every new Artist name and link them with the music files. This may help to make navigation easier.

If Grab media info from video files option is set to Yes, WinCatalog will parse video files, extract basic media info like bitrate, sample rate, duration and information about video and audio streams. WinCatalog can also grab thumbnails for video files, but it will grab them only if appropriate codecs are installed on the computer.

If Process contents of HTML files option is set to Yes, WinCatalog will parse html files, extract Title tag and keep it as item name.
 
The extensions for text files should be set as Extension option. The default value is ".htm; .html; .mht; .shtml"

If Extract contents of text files and keep it as Comments is set to Yes, WinCatalog will read text files and store some text in the comments field.
 
If Limit text to keep option is set to Yes, WinCatalog will limit the stored text by number of characters set in Number of characters to keep option.
 
The extensions for text files should be set as Extension option. The default value is ".txt; .diz; .me; .ion;"

Click this command to restore all extensions options for all file types to it's default values. This command does not change any other options.
