You have advertised that a new version Wincatalog 2010 will be realsed very soon yet that was months ago. When are we likely to see the 2010 version and what new features will it have.

I really like Wincatalog 2009 and is a joy to use I am just eager to see what will be new in the 2010 version.

    Hello Stuart,

    Thank you for your interest!

When are we likely to see the 2010 version and what new features will it have.

First of all, WinCatalog 2010 is database driven. As a result it can operate with huge collections without slowing down on startups. The other important feature is that WinCatalog 2010 can store picture thumbnails for various image formats inside the catalog and you are able to preview pictures even if the original files are unavailable.

The first public beta version will be released this month. The stable update will come in the first decade of June.

  4. Support Guy says:

Hi Paul, thank you for your inquiry! We are just ahead of the new release. We have just posted new screenshots of WinCatalog 2010. You can view them here.

  5. i have a couple of problems
first is i am unable to search for catalogued tracks as it keeps telling me no results all icons at top of page are grey and not accessable
secondly how do i download updates

  6. Support Guy says:

Hello Peter, you can download the latest stable version of WinCatalog from the download page. WinCatalog 2010 has beta status now, but it can be downloaded for your consideration from here. While WinCatalog 2010 has beta status we do not recommend to keep any significant data using the program.

Concerning the search function. We will contact you via email to clarify the issue.
